After arriving in Sorrento we headed straight to Pompeii to walk in these ancient ruins. The feeling of strolling down streets that were lost for almost 2000 years is a very unique experience. This is my third visit to Pompeii but I can never visit the Amalfi coast without stopping by for another look.

Sorrento is one of the larger coastal towns on the Amalfi coast. However it’s not that big. The town offers a charming old town with restaurants and shops, aswell as a very well travelled harbour to get to all the islands located nearby. Our holiday starts in Sorrento, but it’s only the beginning…

We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the old harbour, away from the crowds. Strolls along the cute streets were also on the agenda.
