Hunter House by The Boundary

British visualisation studio The Boundary has created a series of renderings depicting a luxury hotel planned for a secret site in Arizona’s Sonoran desert. The building caught my interest since it showcases a very interesting blend of outdoor and indoor living. The sliding glass doors and pool area that stretches through the outer walls are so playful and innovative. When finished, this will surely become a travel destination for luxury spa visitors.

Henry Goss Architects designed the hotel concept for a private client. The buildings exposed concrete, neutral colours and lineaire shapes give it an industrial yet luxurious feel. The Boundary has become well-known in the industry for their incredibly detailed hyper-realistic renderings, and it’s easy to understand why when looking at these images.

How amazing is this pool area?

The design shows flooring continue seamlessly through the facade of the hotel, to create patios that extend towards a landscape of rocks and the desert beyond. A pool is also stretching from inside out into the landscape. A fire integrated into a wall by the pool offers extra warmth after nightfall for both an internal lounge and a seating area sunken into an outdoor patio.
