Nordbygg 16 Fair

This week NORDBYGG 16, a building and architectural fair, took place in Stockholm. The fair is Northern Europe’s largest fair on the subject, with over 900 exhibitors and 50 000 visitors in total. The fair which has taken place every other year since the 80s, lets us see the latest trends in the building branch such as new materials, techniques and architectural projects. This year, a cooperation with the Swiss consulate resulted in an interesting study of Swiss vs Swedish architecture with guest speakers such as architect Christoph Wieser. Moreover, interesting focus points were the Betong Café, a temporary concrete project by two students from the Royal Technical University in Stockholm.
