In an ever changing design market, finding new and smart materials has proven to be an important task. During one year, Kim Markel researched how to create the best recycled material for stunning design pieces. The result was a mixture of old eyeglasses, lunch trays and soda bottles. Combined with resin, this material has been used to create her inspiring GLOW Collection. Chairs, side tables, mirrors and vases with a translucent finish and faded colours have been received with great interest in the design world when shown at the Architectural Digest Design Show.
